For many women, their wedding day is one of the most important and looked forward to events of her life; coming second only to the day she gives birth to her children. However, the stress associated with wedding planning can cause even the coolest, calm, and collected bride to be to be reduced to tears.

Beachfront/Destination Weddings: People are generally of two opinions when it comes to destination weddings. They either love the idea of a traveling to an exotic location for a mini vacation while simultaneously being in attendance of a very special occasion; or they find it to be a very selfish and expensive inconvenience to them. However you must remember one thing, this day is about you and your spouse to be. If a sunset wedding on an island or beach is your dream – then go for it. There are definite advantages to destination weddings, in fact depending on your specific needs – the advantage will far outweigh any disadvantages. If airplane travel is difficult for some of your wedding guests, remember that some of the best most romantic locations are right here within the continental U.S. – accessible by car for many.
Now for those of you who wish to compromise for the sake of keeping the peace, well I say “if you can’t have your wedding on the beach, I’ll show you how to bring the beach to your wedding!”
Beach Themed Weddings: Themed weddings and receptions are growing in popularity and by “themed”, I of course mean things beyond your table favors and color scheme. I’ve been to many themed weddings and the beach themes are some of the more creative and most fun! From indoor sand dunes and seashells to a seaweed covered mermaid – the possibilities are endless.
